What are Volunteer Grants?

Volunteer grants are corporate giving programs that encourage volunteerism in communities where employees live and work. Through these programs, companies provide monetary grants to organizations where employees regularly volunteer.

CUBEX encourages the efforts of our employee volunteers who actively engage with local nonprofit organizations. The Dollars for Doers program increases our commitment to local communities and to employee engagement.

This pilot program begins January 1, 2020. Eligible employees can convert their service hours to grant dollars donated to the charity where the employee served (restrictions apply, see below). Charities benefit from the employee’s service hours and from the additional grant awarded to them. It's a win-win.

In a modification to this common program model, CUBEX will offer the grants to the employee’s charity based on the top number of service hours. Top hours will receive a grant of $3000; second highest will receive $2000, and third will receive $1000 for their charity. Logged hours will be tallied at the end of the calendar year and funds will be distributed to the awarded charity the following year.

To be eligible for a grant, employees must complete the request forms in the links below. Both the employee and organization must comply with the program criteria and restrictions.
