Cubex Sponsored Events (CSE)

Guidelines for CSEs

CUBEX is proud to offer employees planned and coordinated sponsored events throughout the year. Please review the following guidelines about how sponsored and non-sponsored events work.

  • All employees are welcome and encouraged to participate in events supporting their local community.
  • This Site has been created to inform Cubex employees of events and community program related content. This site is for employees only and not to be distributed.
  • A Cubex Sponsored Event (CSE) is considered an approved, coordinated event in which Cubex either pays the employee their time to participate (ex. during a scheduled shift), pays a fee for the activity (registration fees), or other method to be determined appropriate.
  • Events on the Community Calendar will indicate whether a posted event is CSE vs non-CSE.
  • Participation in a CSE may need to be approved by your supervisor to ensure appropriate shift coverage (example: Customer Support). We understand this challenge and will work with managers to ensure everyone has an opportunity to participate in a CSE.
  • Carpooling to a CSE is encouraged. Travel miles to sponsored events are not reimbursed.
  • If you are an hourly paid employee, you will only be paid for an event that falls during your regularly scheduled hours. Overtime will not be paid for hours spent at the CSE. Additionally, employees will not be paid for non-CSEs. Contract Employees are not eligible to be paid out for CSE.
  • We encourage friends and family to join in the events and are welcome to participate. Events will indicate if they are "family friendly". There may be age restrictions based on the event organization which will be noted in the event details. Unless otherwise noted, Cubex will only sponsor the employees participating in the CSE.
  • As Cubex employees, you will be asked to act as representatives of company at any CSE. This includes professional behavior at the event, wearing provided community builder t-shirts to the event, group pictures for social media, etc.
  • All employees can log volunteer hours for CSE or non-CSEs to be eligible for end-of-year "Community Builder Award". Read more details HERE
  • This program will grow and evolve with time. As changes occur, adjustments to these guidelines will be made.
